Styled after the iconic WWII USN Foul Weather Parka, our Smock is produced in a kersey wool, the same found on USN Peacoats of the same period. Our dense, dry kersey is woven in the United States in a factory which has been producing this cloth in the same manner since Second World War, and utilised on our Foul Weather Smock to create something which never existed as an Navy issued item, but, could have been.
Made wide in loose in Japan, the two sizes encourage this jacket to be worn oversized to layer over each season's base pieces. With an oversized kangaroo pocket, our Foul Weather Smock is a functional interpretation of classic outdoor wear - over denim and our RAF Rollneck in winter or a classic tee and Gurkhas through the summer showers - it is Practical Wear for the adventurer, whomever they may be.
